Project Description:

Uludağ National Park is one of the most important natural and touristic areas of Turkey and attracts great interest from nature lovers, campers and winter sports enthusiasts throughout the year. In this context, the Wooden Country Houses Project was realized in Sarıalan and Çobankaya Locations in order to increase the ecotourism potential of the region and to provide visitors with more comfortable and nature-friendly accommodation.

Within the scope of the project, technical consultancy services were provided for wooden cottages built using environmentally friendly and sustainable materials in accordance with the natural structure. Technical advisory services ranged from project planning to implementation and included the following elements

  • Structural analysis and project conformity
  • Material selection and environmental sustainability assessment
  • Technical supervision and quality control of the construction process
  • Determination of construction techniques that will not harm the natural ecosystem of the region
  • Compliance audits with local and national regulations

The wooden cottages built in the Sarıalan and Çobankaya regions, with their architecture in harmony with nature and traditional construction techniques, have become an important eco-tourism investment that aims to protect both the comfort of visitors and the natural beauties of Uludağ.
