In the heart of Misi village (Gümüştepe neighborhood), which stands out with its historical and natural beauties of Bursa, we are proud to transform a registered civil architecture example that has witnessed time into a "Literature Museum" that will host the literary memory of the city. This project, which we carried out with Nilüfer Municipality, combines historical preservation awareness with a cultural vision.

Purpose and Value of the Project
Our main goal in this project was to save the registered building, which is part of the characteristic architectural fabric of Misi, from demolition and transform it into a living, inspiring cultural space. With the function of the Museum of Literature, the building has been restored not only physically but also spiritually, turning it into a center of attraction that brings together writers, poets and readers.
Our Approach in the Restoration Process
We worked with great care to realize a restoration in accordance with the authentic atmosphere of Misi:
- Preservation of the Original Architecture: The original architectural elements of the building such as the wooden carcass system, stone walls, bay windows and traditional roof texture have been meticulously preserved and repaired using traditional techniques and materials.
- Space Design for Cultural Function: The interiors of the building have been reorganized in accordance with the modern museum concept.
- Permanent and temporary exhibition areas where the personal belongings and works of the authors will be exhibited have been created.
- Reading corners and a library section where visitors can have a pleasant time have been designed.
- A multi-purpose event area has been created for literary interviews and workshops.
- Modern Integration in Harmony with the Historical Texture: Modern lighting, air conditioning and security systems in accordance with the needs of museology have been carefully integrated into the building without damaging the historical texture.
Result of the Project
Thanks to this restoration project completed with the expertise of our company, an idle historical Misi house has been transformed into a living and breathing Literature Museum that adds value to the cultural life of Bursa. This project is one of the best examples of our competence in not only preserving historical buildings but also giving them new and meaningful functions.
